The digi card is located next to the video card which is in the first slot
next to the mother board. Those are the only cards installed. As was
suggested by someone in the digi forum, I moved the digi card to the next
empty slot up, re-booted, no go. Then to the next slot, re-booted, no go.
Then to the next one up and whad'ya know, the mac boots.
Thanks again for helping out guys. This stuff is still a mystery to me.

Thanks for the input everyone. I paid a tech to come over and check out
the system. He found everything to be working well but could not locate
the digi boot problem without getting into formatting and starting over
again. I think I will try changing the location of the card(different
slot) and if that doesn't do it, so be it. You can only mess with this
stuff so long if you're me. I am able to record, just need to figure out
protools now...

What a major PITA! When I record, I just turn on the console and HDR
and go. No time to waste fooling with computers. I could of recorded a
track in the time it took to read this crap.
Right on! But some people insist on doing everything with a computer
because it's easier, cheaper, or better, in way.
Watch that quoting, though. I could have recorded a track in the time
it took to open your message.
