My father in law is ready to give up his hearing aids and wear a pair

speaking with, filter out any competing noises, and listen through
comfy headphones.
Anybody know of such a thing? Are there variations on the CMoy design
that might work?
Dunno about the CMoy design, but I've seen a device for educational
settings that has a "necklace" with a flashlight-sized unit with a mic
and wireless transmitter for the teacher to wear.
Good luck!
