I'm trying to collect all of the Cantatas. Here's what I have so far:

Yikes! Better than buying the Brilliant set in a convenient box and
never listening to them, I suppose. It's also good to keep track so as
not to accumulate three hundred performances of the Coffee Cantata as
couplings.

Yeah. My whole LP/CD collection is indexed that way and kept on my
laptop and Palm.

I'm reconciled to eternal browsing!

There's so much to hear in the cantatas, let alone learning the variants
and borrowings and related pieces and social settings and literary
associations, etc, etc, etc.

True indeed. BTW, today's mail brought BWV 73, 74, and 75 on Telefunken
LPs. Nice!

Here's one of those research coincidences: I was searching for the
Taruskin article, "Facing Up, Finally, to Bach's Dark Vision" (NYT)
because of its special way of looking at the cantatas and this website
came up (http://www.fastnbulbous.com/metal.htm), which opens with a
reference to Taruskin and the Judas Priest case.
