LOL! Hold on, let me put my brother on the phone! (New season of Crank
Yankers has started).

Was the new episode any good? I thought they were starting to run out of
ideas
by the end of last season.

As usual, Marc, some of the characterizations are better than others. I find
enough of the little episodes funny to watch the series, I guess. Of course,
to see Ed, one can just read McKelvy's posts on RAO

The 1st new episode was pretty good, especially the opening bit with Hadassah
complaining about a doll she received. Also, the episode with Edgar was
pretty
funny. I don't say more in case you elect to watch it.

My favorite characters on the show are (a) Edgar (see the episode where he
sees
a fellow in the park urinal - priceless), (b) Birchum - the Viet Nam vet (see
the Ashes at Sea bit), (c) Ed (yeaaaaaah!), (d) Niles Standish (the veddy
wealthy British guy with the unusual tastes), and Gladys (see the episodes
where she complains about Slime and where she calls the hardware store
because
she's stuck to the toilet seat).

While some of the stuff is just silly and it's definitely for those who are
easily offended, I think all-in-all, it's one of the funnier programs I've
seen
in any 30 minute series on TV.

While I know this will date me (and I don't care), I wish somebody would
syndicate and/or rerun episodes of Second City Television - which gets my
vote
for one of the funniest series of all time (along with Monty Python). Both
are
classics and deserve to be shown again IMHO.

I loved the first few episodes of the show and loved it, but my attention waned
after a while. I love Special Ed and Birchum, and Bobby Fletcher makes me
laugh, too (as well as the guy who has that problem with projectile vomiting).
Niles Standish actually gets on my nerves a bit.

South Park, on the other hand, seems to get funnier and funnier every year.
