The untaped hispanic vote in the U.S. is *huge* - awe-inspiring
in fact. I'm now a minority in California according to the recent
census, if not legally(darn it - they outnumber me and still
get preferental treatment - sure feels fair to me)

What preferential treatment do they get over you?

Oh man - where to start... Just do a search online for government
programs for minorities. The problem is that once you are declared
a minority, nobody ever checks to see if it's true a couple of
decades later. Caucasian is of course, exempted from the process,
so that even if you are eventually 10%, you're never a minority.

Um - what about an even playing field? This isn't 1950 afterall.

Do minorities change their color or sex every ten years??
Well, maybe sex, they could do that

More importantly accumulated wealth wasn't redistributed. Even if it
were true that things were fair going forward, the advantages of
accumulated wealth would overwhelmingly accrue to those who were, all
else equal, not descended from slaves or subject to Jim Crow or other
forms of discrimination.
