Default Looks like it's over to me...

The untaped hispanic vote in the U.S. is *huge* - awe-inspiring
in fact. I'm now a minority in California according to the recent
census, if not legally(darn it - they outnumber me and still
get preferental treatment - sure feels fair to me)

What preferential treatment do they get over you?

Oh man - where to start...

How about with one example that actually affects you.

Just do a search online for government
programs for minorities.

I'd rather have you tell me how you have suffered from the prefferential
treatment of hispanics or any other minority.

. Just do a search online for government
programs for minorities. The problem is that once you are declared
a minority, nobody ever checks to see if it's true a couple of
decades later. Caucasian is of course, exempted from the process,
so that even if you are eventually 10%, you're never a minority.

I think you are not really understanding the concept of minority in this issue.
It isn't a matter of numbers. It is a matter of descrimination suffered by
certain groups.

Um - what about an even playing field? This isn't 1950 afterall.

I am all in favor of *real* even playing fields. Maybe you can cite an example
of how you are playing on field tilted against you?
