Considering Edward's poor performance in the South,
I don't think he will be his running mate.
I have heard talk about Gov. Warner of Virginia.
I think picking a governor over another Senator
would be a good idea. Of course, Warner
is another taxeholic.

Another Governor option might well be Bill Richardson of New Mexico, a
well-respected Hispanic Democrat who has worn a number of different hats,
and
might presumably eat into some of Bush's support among Hispanics (although
not
in Florida, unfortunately).



A logical choice. Though he wasn't a bang up energy secretary.
