So, as Dean's performance during 2003 inspired all my political postings
here, and since his campaign has obviously fizzled, I guess I'll leave

you

all alone until the real fight begins next July and ends next Nov. See

then. :-)~

Nope. Anything can happen with all of the large states still
open AND the possibility that one of the other candidates will
throw their votes/support to another candidate at the last minute.

Wait until Texas, NY, Florida, Illinois, and California are
all in. I fail to see why they get so worked up over all of
the small states early on. A win in California for Dean, for
instance...

True, but everyone thought Tennesee and Virginia were a tossup between
Edward and Clark. As disappointed as I am, it appears the Kerry juggernaut
is unstoppable. Main reason: record numbers of Dems are voting in the
primaries primarily because the despise Bush and see Kerry as the most
"electable", whatever the f*** that's supposed to mean. The only really
good news is that Edwards is still going strong, he could win or be the VP,
and as the most articulate spokesman since JFK and RFK, he could demolish
Cheney in any public debate. At this point, Kerry has learned enough from
Dean and Edwards that he could cause Bush to go through a total meltdown in
any debate.

Besides, Bushco is going to continue to self-destruct as more and more of
their slime becomes public in the next 8-9 months. Kerry and Edwards know
how to campaign and speak effectively in public, which Dean never learned

to
do, beyond his summer stump rally speaches.

Bottom line: Bushco is toast. Record numbers of Democrats are activated
enoughtto go to the polls, and anytime that happens, Republicans lose, and
lose big. We have one person to thank for that: George W. Bush.

Oh, we can guarantee that Florida, New York, California, and Illinios
are a foregone conclusion - those votes go to the Dems reguardless if
they don't spend a day campaigning in those states based upon the
primary turnouts. Florida surely isn't going to be fooled and hoodwinked
by the governor and his cronies again. You can expect record numbers of
****ed off edlerly democrats who still feel the sting from the last
election's mess to march into the polls and tripple-check every single
ballot.

While I agree with you that most of the elderly Democrats will turn out in
higher numbers to vote against Bush, one unfortunate possible offsetting
variable in Florida is the everincreasing number of Hispanic voters, especially
those from Cuba, who invariably vote for Republicans because of the perceived
lack of toughness amongst Democrats when it comes to dealing with the Castro
regime. This issue seems to dominate their thinking above all the more
"domestic" issues that others care about more.

Oh - btw - most people don't know that until you turn the ballot in,
you can always request a new one if you mess up. That needs to be
spread around to the voters as well. Of course, in California, it's
all computerized now - which is good in a sense, but one hacker...
