So, as Dean's performance during 2003 inspired all my political postings
here, and since his campaign has obviously fizzled, I guess I'll leave
you
all alone until the real fight begins next July and ends next Nov. See
you
then. :-)~
And how about the rumor that Bush is going to choose Giuliani as *his*
running mate?
Now *that's* bare knuckle politics!
WOW, you realize, if Bush wins reelection,
it would set up the long awaited Hiilary/Guiliani
matchup we never got for the NY Senate race.
A battle of the Titans. And two very mean people.
To fill out the ticket, one ought to pick Leona Hemsley
and the other pick Martha Stewart for VP's.
The choice of Giuliani as VP would be a masterstroke for the
Republicans, *if* Rudy could be convinced to become VP (that's almost
a demotion). However, since it's fairly likely that he's a prime GOP
candidate for Prez in the next 8 years or so, this might be perfect to
fulfil his ambitions, so it might not take a lot of arm-twisting. it
would position him to succeed President Bush, *if* Bush gets elected.
