I get the same kind of email, in which Dr. Richard Graham exults at his
"victory" over his enemies. It is very strange that he could imagine such
power in words. "Goombah" is a perjorative for an Italian. It means,
"meatball." I do not think Doctor Graham has sufficient experience with
American multiethnic culture to understand the appropriate use of the term.

In reality Shovie, it doesn't matter much if you are Shovels or not.
Shovels takes your excited protestations at face value. I don't -- I
