Bookshelf speakers in Bookshelf

Hey,
I am putting together a system in my living room, and due to space
constraints, I'd like to mount some bookshelf speakers *in a
bookshelf*... (one wall has about 15' of oak wall units, which are
really the only place a stereo would be acceptable)
Associated equipment is:
Rotel preamp
Sony CD player
Dynaco ST-70 Series II
Thorens TD-124/II with SME 3012/Grado
A general observation.
Many so-called bookshelf speakers really are intended for placement well
away from room boundaries. This is an interesting and useful condition that
can lead to remarkable sound, but it doesn't apply to your situation.
Conversely, a speaker that sounds good in a bookshelf wil provide
unacceptable performance when stand-mounted away from room boundaries.
This is why the Tannoy(since he has Tannoys already) surrounds will
likely work best. The only decision would be which model.
The Revolution and Saturn are being phased out for, IMO, a cheaper
speaker(sigh), so those two get my choice. Either the R1 or the S6 L/R
