Facts about Sanders:

This is my experience with Sanders and dinners. He never
tried any tax dodges when I was with him:
I have dined with sanders three times, twice at restaurants and
once in his home. At the restaurants, we paid our own bills.
Sanders never mentioned his work at any time.

I don't know anything about his sources of income, whether
from a trust fund or from a legal practice. He lives very well,
better than I do.

Thank you, Art. You innocently overlooked the fact that you had two dinners
at my house - one alone with me (well, it could be called an afternoon bbq -
steak and lobster), and a second with Scott and Marc.

And I will concede that I don't recall whether I ever picked up a restaurant
tab with you - although I do recall offering to on two occasions.

I do not have a trust fund. This December I received an inheritance, which
was worth less than my own estate. All of each is completely invested. I
live on my income from my practice, which is far more than I need to live
on, so I invest most of that as well. To avoid wasting any more money on
interest payments, I paid off my mortgage in full last June, so my living
expenses only eat up about 20% of my income. My house was recently
appraised at $1.2 million.

I certainly don't need to steal $25 from the government. That claim is so
nonsensical and preposterous that only a complete loony could imagine it to
be true.

And I'm sure you recall and can confirm that my Martin Logans are *not*
placed "flat up against the back wall" as Scott has falsely claimed.
