Hi,
I am currently in the market for a new set of speakers. I will be
mostly be using it to listen to music, and sometimes for movies. Since
I listen to mostly trance, techno, dance music, I will need to have a
good clear (punchy )bass. I am wondering whether I should purchase one
of those speaker sets with the little speakers and subwoofer OR try to
build my own using a combination of good bookshelf speakers and a
subwoofer?

I would like to purchase the speaker system with the small speakers
since it would reduce the clutter in my apartment, however I am
worried that the they maybe tailored especially for use in the home
theater hence not be the best when listening to music.

Any thoughts please let me know
