I'm an audio newbie who with help from rec.audio.opinion (thanks again
for which) recently put together a system with B&W dm602 s3 speakers
and Rotel RA-1062 integrated amp. I'm very happy with this system, but
am thinking of adding a subwoofer, preferably for $500 or less, mainly
for enhancing the low end in orchestral music at low-to-moderate volume
levels in a 12 x 12 foot room.

I'm considering the B&W ASW600, in the belief that it would integrate
well with the 602s. I'd appreciate any advice on the B&W subwoofer, or
suggested alternatives.
