The future of music in the home... ugh. No brick and mortar
stores,
etc.
And all digital, yay.
I hope that you enjoy it.
What's not to enjoy?
You wouldn't miss the browsing in the store experience?
It seems every time I go to a store that sells recordedmusic, I'm
confronted
by a lot of people I would not usually want to be near. The clerks with
the
pierced tongues and tatoos being just one example.
I just want the music, I don't need anything beyond that other than to
play
it back at home.\
OK... The stores I go to are generally different than that. And people
who are different than me don't bother me, but I understand your point.
I just think that someday we'll look back fondly at that day when there
were record stores. But I know... times change and there's nothing we
can do about it.
That day is long past.... after I got out of college I lost interest in
current
music...the 80's...anyway after moving to Ca. I dropped by a
record store near my new home. I looked around and had to ask,
where are the albums?.... They were already reduced to one little rack
on the back wall. I left in search of a hifi shop to get a cd player.
I think I've been in a dozen record stores in 10 years and the only one
worth visiting was up in Hollywood. Talk about freaky people...
and security was tighter than your local airports.
