Well, he did promise no shortage of material.
Yes and his material is entertaining. Being a tweak enthusiast myself
(though I know that there is no end to "tweaking" and that at some point
you just have to stop... ;\ ) I remember how eagerly I read his very
first post for us "open minded" audiophiles as he was intentionally
jabbering on and on about open minds and audiophiles and the nature of
the changes gonna be takin place to highten the SUSPENCE and then when
he finally blurted out the tweak itself, ASPIRIN, PICTURE OF A FOUR
LEGGED ANIMAL!! what a BIG disappointment it was! But in retrospect I am
thinking that even that was good entertainment now.
The man is some
comedian, you have to hand him that much. And lively, great, funny
english, good reading. There is some form of time-stretched burlesque
comedy and/or absurd point being made I think. We'll just have to wait
and see.
I must admit my lack of knowlege.
Not one of my loudspeakers has that third terminal
on the speaker for grounding.
I've gone through all
the vendor's cut sheets and not one has it one them.
I must be purchasing the wrong brands.
Hmmm.. The Tannoy Eyris 3 *does* have grounding conections... though I
am not sure if it is revolving on the same electrical principles as what
shp was going on about... ??
