I don't recall who's on what side in this blue. However there is an
extensive and detailed article in the Nov05 issue of Sound & Video
Contractor on the testing done at Harman/JBL labs. The opening of the
article discusses in depth listener training and the use of A/B/X testing
as
the core of their design process.
