Hello all,
Just one of my Little Question.. Here it is: What is your prefered
music
album (CD or LP). You know that's the one that you will bring with you
on a desert island. Of course this desert island must have electricity
so you can use your Hi-Fi gear.

AL Kooper Mike Bloomfield: Sooper Session
Bruce Springsteen: Born To Run
Mannheim Steamroller:Fresh Aire 3

Wow, a point of agreement.
I learned bass playing from Albert's Shuffle.
I have a great Bloomfield collection. You might also
enjoy early Fleetwood Mac w/ Peter Green.

Got the reissue that has the versions with and without the horns added
plus some live performances.

I've found some of the old FM stuff with Peter Green available for
download at e-music.
I've been downloading some stuff to compare CD vs. MP3 and can tell no
difference.

Hell, I can tell differences between various cd masterings
of the same album.
Chances are, you were listening to a cd of one mastering
and an mp3 version of another mastering and couldn't
tell the difference. But my comparison was sighted,
so it was useless, Oh,..... wait a minute.....
your comparison was also sighted.

For my money Heifetz is the very best, I have a recording of him
playing The Swan that will make grown men cry. On CD of course.

CD's aren't "that" bad.
