Hello all,
Just one of my Little Question.. Here it is: What is your prefered music
album (CD or LP). You know that's the one that you will bring with you
on a desert island. Of course this desert island must have electricity
so you can use your Hi-Fi gear.
Also why this particular album?
I would have a hard time with that, but taking this logically, it would
probably be Scritti Politti's "Songs To Remember", for me. Because as
advertised, they are songs to remember. I bought it when it first came
out, and its the only album from that period that I still listen to
today. Its full of style, depth and soul. It has a bit of everything;
jazz, funk, reggae, soul, pop, you name it. I have both the original LP
and the original CD version, and of course, it would be the LP version
for me. I've compared the two and there's no contest as to which is
superior and more faithful and accurate to the original sound of the
music.
Thank for your answer. I will try to find this album in my area. For me
there is several choice: Beyond The Missouri Sky by Charlie Haden and
Pat Metheny. Duality by Lisa Guerrard. L'Heptade by Harmonium, Gustav
Mahler 5th Symphony. The Complete Nocturnes and Impromptus of Frédéric
Chopin played by Angela Hewitt.
