This is supposed to be an audio group. Get over yourselves. I can't
understand why this group has turned into the Arny-bashing, punk-ass
playground for self-important golden-ears that it has. Politics has no place
here. If you can't just listen to the music you shouldn't be posting.

Right now I'm listening to the CSO's rendition of Stravinsky's "The Sacre
du Printemps". Next up is Soundgarden's "Outshined". I have Behringer Truth
monitors playing through an M-Audio card.

I would so *love* to hear what all you self-important dolts are listening
to. Hey, you might even educate me, the tubeguy. Please, educate me in the
ways of highend. You all are such a bunch of dorks, as am I, that I would no
doubt benefit from any flaming.

Where flames start, I end. This is a plea for sanity. Please think about
your posts before making them. Make them cognizant of the listening act.
Make them relevant to the act of listening to music. After all, isn't this
what rao is about? Or have I been so absorbed in my day-to-day life that I
lost focus?

No, I think this group had lost focus.

Every time I refresh RAO it is a chore, because I know I will have to weed
out all the bull****. This group is about the reproduction of music. There's
no room for the anger and deceit present in the general postings of this
group. What's with you people? I'm pointing my finger at you too, Arny. You
let these dumb****s get to you, and respond, however soberly, with
retribution. This group is not about who is better than who. It's about What
Sounds Good.

I have a basement apartment with an old lath-and plaster construction. I
listen to music over traditional Paradigms on lead-shot-weighted stands.
They take me places. Why doesn't this group recognize this journey? All I
see is bull****. This guy sucks, that guy can't hear, this other guy
wouldn't know a proper symphony if it dropped on his head.

I'm here to tell you all that this group, which of couse I have no actual
contol over, is about *MUSIC*. The banal garbage that I have to sift through
to get to some meaningful commentary is just driving this poster nuts. For
God's sake people, talk about the music! Why else does this group even
exist?
