At audio frequencies and with any kind of reasonble
speaker load, wire of a given gauge = wire of a
given gauge. Since wire gauges haven't changed
since 1983...

If I could suspend my disbeliefs in exchange for
a nineteenth century viewpoint of physic, your
statement might be true. To do this I would
need to forget about the advances in computer
modeling not available in 1983, advances in
material science, manufacturing techniques,
improvement in overall equipment standards
and the volumes of cable reviews written in
audio magazines. I’m sorry, I don’t think that
I could dumb-down that far, Arny.
