This certainly makes more sense than any version of the story I've heard
so far.

miss this somehow in their "fair and balanced" coverage of the capture.

And so did CBS, NBS, CNN, ABC The Washington Post, The New York Times,
The Chicago Tribune, The San Francisco Chronicle and The Los Angeles Times.
We all 'know' that these institutions are also part of the 'vast right wing
conspiracy'!

The Bush bashers are so consumed with their hatred for him
that they refuse to give credit to the US armed forces and
specifically the US Army Fourth Infantry Division. Why? Because
giving credit to American forces would mean giving credit
to the Commander in Chief. They hate him too much for that.
