Actually, several Democratic candidates have publicly endorsed a one-payer
universal health system on numerous occasions: Dick Gephardt, Howard Dean,
Dennis Kucinich, and Carol Mosley-Braun.

In addition to Gephart, I'm also considering Dean and General Wesley
Clark,
whose views on foreign policy are find more detailed and creative than
those of
most of the other candidates.

I also like Clark, will wholeheartedly support him if he wins next June. In
fact, I'll wholeheartedly support whoever wins in June. I personally think
a Dean/Clark ticket would bury Bush/Cheney deeper than the Mariana Trench.

Wait a minute -- I thought you said Howard Dean was a mortal lock?
The "next president of the United States" you said just the other

With support that fleeting and shallow it's no wonder the Giants keep
tanking in the playoffs.
