Umm......unless I'm missing some secret message in the above article,
we're discussing different things.

Meanwhile, I've read the article thoroughly, and I agree entirely with
the analysis made by Richard Pierce.
However, the article is about (the influence of an amp's output
impedance on) speaker behaviour.
My post was about the methods of obtaining (high) damping factors in
an amplifier.

I still think my and mr. Pierce's thoughts aren't contradictory, as
we're speaking about different things, while both using the common
term "damping factor" .
