Her action and the following bus strike were the beginning of the end
for the segregationists. If only the rest of the civil rights movement
had been made up of people as dignified.

This is the way the the whole movenment should have been dealt with, in
simple non-violent action that hurt the racists in their wallet. Plessy
v Ferguson was another case that showed that segregation would have died
of natural causes had the government not inervened in ways it shouldn't
have.
