Lionel,
I don't know what George would do if he didn't have Arny
Krueger to beat on.
He'd find someone else. For the longest time he had both JJ & I to
beat on. However JJ moved on.
But I do feel that Arny's personality is the root of the
problem.
Yup, its all my fault. My personality is the source of the problem
because it exists. If I was a personality-less dweeb, George would
have to find someone else to try to beat up.
There is a grain of truth in what you say.
Attempt to damn with faint praise noted.
One can have a powerful personality even if one does not degrade or
insult others.
OK Morein, so are you saying that you have every right to criticize me,
because you've never insulted me or anybody else?
LOL!
Force of personality is not equivalent to aggressive posture.
Agreed.
If you were in the company of trial lawyers, litigators, who make a
profession out of argument, and tend to have litigious personalities,
you would find that they are personally quite cordial to each other.
Been there, done that. But, there are no rules. Furthermore, lawyers might
be quite cordial to each other face-to-face in formal surroundings, but
maybe you don't want to leave the room for fear that your ears might
metaphorically explode in flames.
Morein, are you trying to say that you've never heard of the expression "Two
faced"? Do you seriously want us to believe that there are no face-offs
between lawyers? I've seen lawyers so angry with each other that they stank!
Do you seriously want us to believe that there are no lawyers don't talk
behind each other's backs?
LOL!
They exercise their sharp teeth only in very measured, appropriate,
circumstances.
Yeah, sure. And pigs fly. I grew up with people who are now lawyers. I still
hang out with them and do business with them. Many of them are wonderful
people, but they are still people and with all the faults that come with
that territory.
Obviously Morein, you've never gotten close enough to lawyers to see them
metaphorically let their hair down. Been there, done that. Not to pick on
lawyers, BTW - I've never seen a group of people in any profession, trade or
other social group that didn't act like humans.
