BTW, the Rummy gobbledygook is old news - what's interesting about it is
that he was asked a specific question about a specific piece of intelligence
in a news conference and *that* was his incredibly garbled evasion of the
question.m Jaws literally dropped in the audience of newspeople.

The funny thing about the article, aside from also including the Gropinator
quote (not as well known) was the following comment about Rummy's botched
English:

"John Lister, spokesman for the campaign which strives to have public
information delivered in clear, straightforward English, said: 'We think we
know what he means. But we don't know if we really know.'"
