Found a site with some blue book values, so I looked up some Von
Schwiekert VR 4 Gen 3 (not the SE versions), and this was what I got

MSRP: $4,750.00
USED: $980.00
Wholesale
Mint: $620.00
Average: $380.00

This seemed so strange to me. This being the case, the guy wants far
too much for them. More importantly, these would be amazing value if
you can pick up a pair at this price. So I looked up the VR4 I, and II,
and found

MSRP: $3,950.00
USED: $1,700.00
Wholesale
Mint: $1,150.00
Average: $780.00

VR4 II
Retail
MSRP: $3,950.00
USED: $1,900.00
Wholesale
Mint: $1,300.00
Average: $860.00

Is there any reason the Gen III, which is the newest versions is so
cheap compared to the others? As a general as well, everything I've
looked up seems to have a cheaper Blue Book value than what it actually
sells for. Is this correct?
