I think Krooger's behavior crossed the line. Law-abiding citizens are
obliged to report crimes of which they have knowledge.

There is a big difference between tortious behavior, such as slander or
defamation, and actual crimes against persons or property. If somebody
claimed to have committed a crime, wouldn't you report that to the
authorities if you knew his identity? For myself, I was not sure Krooger had
committed the crime of child pornography. If I had been sure, I might have
reported him myself.

A final point: Harassment such as has been committed against Gregipus (the
flowers) or Phoebe (involving his place of employment) is not equivalent to
reporting criminals to the authorities. By harassing individuals, you commit
a crime. By reporting wrongdoers, you initiate a process that is supposed to
hold everybody accountable for their actions. Morally, they are pretty much
opposites. However, the crucial point of difference is whether an actual
crime is known to have occurred.

I mock Arny and others on RAO just as much as the next guy, but I
would never think about taking it off usenet.

Neither would I. But if you look at the facts, every instance of "taking it
off Usenet" has been committed by a 'borg or a Kroopologist. This includes
Bwian, who harassed Phoebe Johnston; some clown whose name I forgot who
harassed trotsky; Thing and Slut and Styncho, who tried to instigate trouble
for dave at his workplace and me at my residence, although they have yet to
follow through on their own; Druggie Hoggin, who placed crank phone calls to
several people including myself; and again Bwian McDog****, who complained
about several people's Usenet posts to their ISPs.

Note that no harassment of Ferstler actually took place. There were claims
of bad reviews of his books on Amazon, but (a) they were anonymous and
untraceable, and so may have been created by Harold himself, and (b) Amazon
offers that service for the express purpose of *soliciting* opinions. So
much for Little ****'s claims that I or anybody else "harassed" Clerkie.

And to be honest, I don't believe for a second that Arny is/was a
pedophile.

You're entitled to believe that. I think the evidence raises suspicion and
reporting it to the authorities is not farfetched, nor is it harassment.

Fortunately for Their intended victim, They came to Their senses before
doing any evil deeds. But Krooger & Ko. were relishing the thought of
getting even with me in the real world, off of Usenet, in a way that would
hurt me financially. I have no doubt that if They ever pool their collect
fractions of a wit and figure out my ebay ID, They will follow through on
Their scheming.

All because They can't keep up with the Normals in a battle of wits.


Probably. I would object to such behaviour as much as I object to
filing a police report on Arny Krueger.

Please do object to it. Please express your opinion to "Lionel", "tor",
"Geosynch", and Krooger. They are the ones who are formulating plans for
harassment, posting addresses, and seemingly encouraging mischief.

I also object to revealing people's workplaces, addresses etc., as we
can see happens to Dave Weil at the moment.

Good to hear that. Now you're on record as disapproving of "Lionel"'s

All I can do is to voice my disagreeing with such practices.

Oh well, I guess I'm just too much influenced by the fact that I'm a

If you want to take a stand, how about zeroing in on Little ****'s
