Really? I think Sting has a phenomenal voice. The Police's style of punk
meets white reggae definitely put them in a league of their own.

I don't turn it off when I hear his voice but I don't go searching out
songs by Sting and own nothing he's ever done.

Perhaps it's an age thing, maybe I'm too old, although I did enjoy
stuff by Creed before Stapp started needing a separate chair for his
ego. My taste is kinda all over the map, lots of stuff from the 60's
and early 70's, not much from the 80's, but stuff from Glen Miller,
Ella Fitzgerald, Duke Ellington and MJQ.

Some voices seem to work if the songs are strong enough, which would
explain why I like Springsteen but not why I can't listen to Tom Waits.
