As for myself, I have been a Ph.D candidate in two fields: statistical
hydrodynamics (physics) and electrical engineering, with a specialization
in
stochastic systems and statistical data analysis.

That makes two of us. I got an undergraduate degree in Mechanical
Engineering, a masters degree in Operations Research and I am getting my PhD
in Operations Research, Computational and Applied Mathematics.

My masters thesis was on the application of group theoretic metaheuristics
for an efficient solution to an asymmetric traveling salesman problem.

My current PhD research interest is in determining stochastic times
intervals for intra-day stock prices to have a lognormal distribution.

Needless to say, I have an extensive background in mathematical programming
(deterministic, stochastic, linear, integer and non-linear), probability and
statistics.
