Tweakos really take themselves WAY too seriously, and see
all of these teapot tempests as major warfare. That I, an
individual who is basically retired and writing mainly to
learn something about audio products and have a bit of fun,
is "afraid" of someone like Mr. Atkinson is preposterous.

imply that you actually were "afraid" of the limey blowhard. I'm sorry
if that wasn't clear.

No problem. I knew you were kidding. I was referring to
others who think I am afraid of the guy. Even if he could
put an end to my writing career (which I am on the verge of
ending, anyway, simply because of my losing interest),

Lets be honest here, Howard. You just did not succeed, plain and simple.

I see. You just prefer to stick your head in the sand out of sheer respect
for John Atkinson. We get it now! :-) But don't worry, Howard. You're way
too insignificant for him to try to end your "writing career". He's just a
little bored and likes to kick you around a little to amuse the rest of us.
