Question for Gregipus & dave

"The Europa has a zippy sound quality."
What does that mean?
dave, do you agree?
I can see that. I think I mentioned that the word might have
connotations not intended, but I understand what he's trying to get
across.
Uh.... Is it a secret?
Is there a way to convey it in semi-objective terms?
Speakers have been called "quick", and that's a pretty well-known
descriptor, but I'm guessing "zippy" is something else.
I think that he's describing the sound of brass and sort of expanding
it to characterize the general sound of the speaker. Bright, quick,
etc.
A "bright" speaker isn't necessarily a desirable one. A "quick" one
should appeal to a lot of buyers. Gregipus has said he used "zippy"
as a synonym for "lively".
Add it all up, and the best it comes to is empty fluff. Maybe
Gregipus should retool the fluff on his site along a Ten
Commandments motif. After all, he believes that "most consumers"
can't decide for themselves what sounds good, so why not make
himself into an audio god?
