You are a tough guy to please... you could always drag around a
walkman or a blaster and play your old cassette tapes.


Actually, on that trip, I had my Jukebox 3 along, and brought the
cassette adapter knowing that I'd be driving for six hours through god
and cow country and didn't expect to find much on the radio. First pee
stop after listening to the Sirius radio (I'm told that XM is better)
I dug out my own "tunes" and listened to that for the rest of the
trip. And in fact, I thought that even going from the radio through
the sound card, conversion to MP3, and played back through an
inductive coupling to a cassette player head, my stuff sounded better.
Less processing than the satellite radio signal. But mostly a more
intelligent choice of music and more intelligent announcing.

And, yes, I AM a hard guy to please, or more accurately, one who turns
the radio off easily.
