I have a pair of Westlake BBSM-8's the 3.5" mid driver has a small tear

know of a replacement solution for this situation. Westlake is no help

Is the cone moving evenly? Does the surround deform when the driver
moves? If not, don't worry about it.

The speaker works and sounds good but I'm worried that there may be some
dampimg of frequencies or some other artifact of the glue spot on the
cone. I used the rubber glue so it would retain flexability but it seems
logical that it would affect the sound somehow.
