what program takes vocals out of songs?
I do it all the time in Audition's multitrack editor. I just mute the
vocal
channel(s) and voila, the vocal(s) are taken out of the song.
What program ? The government's new program TVOOSI "Take Vocals Out Of
Songs Intiative". The aim is to totally eradicate vocalists from the blight
they impose of otherwise great music.
Or if you are in PC-world, try the DX plugin VREMOVER from
www.analogx.com
which automatically does the inverting/summing thang. Unfortunately that
process removed all 'centre' info , which usually includes bass. Works fine
of centre-panned untreated vox, but any stereo process, reverb, etc will
reduce the effectiveness.
