Hey, taking care of the cats is a serious business!

At my house, my wife's the boss, but the cats call the shots ;-)

My cat is a self-contained, low-maintenance sort of creature. I don't
have to "go feed him". I basically occasionally refill the dish with
dry food and he's quite happy with that and the occasional field mouse
(he's an indoor/outdoor kinda guy).

Of course, the downside to that is that he tends to be rather aloof,
which is OK with me. He takes affection on his own terms and doesn't
deign to come when called unless HE wills it.
