Well, they tend to. Of course my Volkswagens "tended to" run before I
Americanized them, then they did.

And your list of DBT's of amps is where exactly?

The fact still remains that amps that operate within their range, IOW
not clipping do not sound "different" from other amps doing the same.
Check Google for the record of Steve Zipser being embarrassed at not
being able to distinguish a Yamaha integrated amp from a pair of his
own reference monoblocks.
