Less funny because it badly smells "hard nationalism".
It would be better if our little "guéguerre" stay strictly around
personal habits, moral and manners.
The risk is to see the game wildly escape to racism and xenophobia.
From this point, and considering international context, I sincerely
find that the choice of the last hymn has been badly done.
I sincerely believe that it's nothing else but a mistake.
See you tomorrow,
Lionel
Lionel,
This is the hardest thing about this group. Your opponent will use
any
means to dig under your skin. For example, the allegations that Arny is
a
child molester, or references to his dead son, etc.
Because your attacker has no scruples, your only defense is to
ignore
him entirely.
Bob
Thank Bob for your kind advices.
I don't mind, I'm just a little bit desappointed. Up to now his efforts
to be funny required time and imagination and so, need to be
recompensed. Now he took the "easy way", the rank stupidity of
nationality and religion.
As you suggested me before I give you this phrase from André Malraux who
said by the early 60s :
"Le XXI siècle sera spirituel ou ne sera pas"
approx.translated : XXIst century will be religious or will not be.
Visionary, no ?
Interesting, but I am afraid religion is more the cause of horror than
salvation.
André Malraux wasn't religious, he was totaly agnostic.
He was French minister of the culture (Assouan in Egypt...).
He told this sentence in a famous speech at a date where the dialectic
was only communism and capitalism... And he saw that !
So now it's been replaced with Islam vs. Christendom.
I fail to see the improvement.
