I've often thought that if we eliminated (primarily because they've become
too predictable and boring) the discussions that invariably devolve into
DBT
debates, ie. cables, equipment "burn-in", amplifiers, green pens, etc.,
there would be precious few threads worth following.
I think what this poor sap is really saying is: If we eliminate discussions
of cables, equipment "burn-in", amplifiers, green pens, etc., there would be
precious little in audio that interests him.
Helllooo! Anybody home?
I thought that the audio hobby was about the search for realistic (or at
least emotionally-rewarding) reproduction of music, drama and current
events.
OK, so it has been conclusively found that differences in cables, equipment
"burn-in", amplifiers, digital audio players, green pens etc., are mostly
irrelevant to about the search for realistic reproduction of music, drama
and current events. So what?
It's not like differences in cables, equipment "burn-in", amplifiers,
digital audio players, green pens etc., are all there is in audio, is it?
