Two comments.
1) If you think/believe Bose sucks, why would you want something similar?

He wants W.A.F. and she's killing his fun - ie: "small or not at all".

KEF and Tannoy make excellent tiny systems.
Note - and this should be repeated far and wide: Bose surround
speaers don't come with mounting hardware. Add in even small mounts
and the visual impact nearly doubles.

KEF gets around this by having their 2005 speakers have an integral
swivel mount - so screw in and go. Also, which they are larger in
diameter, they are round on all sides, so they stand out less than
a cube stuck to a wall.

Real rubber surrounds. No response hole in the system, either.
Bose could learn a thing or twelve from KEF.
