Many thanks for the ideas. I like the powered speaker solution. But I
thought there were stand alone wireless systems - to which you hooked up
your powered speakers and that's what I was thinking of doing. I didn't
think I had to cannibalize a remote speaker unit. And it was these stand
alone transmitter/receiver systems I wondered about.
