Yeah, I don't hate Kroo, he just says the same thing over and over
again and seems unamenable to reason . It's like he's NEVER WRONG. I am
wrong some of the time, because I am not a fulltime researcher: this is
a hobby. I don't have a home recording studio, for the most part I'm
against home recording. Not that I want it outlawed, I just think we
have way too many ****ty desktop records out there. Rudy Van Gelder,
who built his house to be a recording studio in the first place and
does it for a living, obviously doesn't count. I'm looking for the guy
who will tell me with a straight face that you could do, say, any of
Sinatra's late Capitol albums (Come Dance With Me???) with Pro Tools
and some $199 mics from Musician's Friend. Music was better when we had
professionals working with professionals. And simple, basic equipment
made well that people could work on.

What's so wrong with that??
