Elac made turntables ("Miraphon") in the '60s and '70s, I never knew
they were marketed in the US as well.
Those days are long gone.
They were called "Miracord" in the US.

I found it to be quite handsome. It's performance issues were a
disappointment. I believe the importer was named Benjamin.
Today, they are known as a maker of fine speakers and cartridges.
I wish them good fortune!
