What key is it in? G is usually the lowest normal 10
hole diatonic harmonica sold. Then they go back to the
high key ones and make them in an octave lower version
.. Like a low D and low F are popular. The lower reeds
on the low key harps may buzz if you are not to
experienced a player. It is kind of like fret buzz on a
guitar. It bugs the new guys but when an experienced
player picks up the ax the problem is gone.
Since it is harder to hear those low notes players not
using a mic tend to go over the top on the draw just to
hear it. Use a mic, crank it up and blow/draw a little
easier. Create a lot of suction on the back side of the
harp with your hands and you will not need so much air
volume to sound the reeds and the tone will start to
take over.
Keep practicing.

: Hi,
: I just purchased a $29.00 Harmon harmonica. The bass
part has a buzz when I
: suck in. Should that be? Is this normal, or could it
be defective?
: Thanks
