which is why when I do these sorts of deals with people I insist on
fifty fifty of the songwriting and take care of copyright issues for
the "talent" if that's what you could call some of these guys. I also
get my $100 a tune or better.
I'm no amateur but a professional musician. THey balk at either the
picture of MR. Franklin or the split on any songwriting credit through
copyrights etc. we tell 'em thanks but no thanks, go elsewhere. DOne
a few of them over the last four or five years that way. sometimes
you can make something good but a lot of these folks have no clue.
