Oh, snakes? No, I wouldn't do that. Too many connectors means too many
possible points of failure. If you want a snake that long, buy a piece
of bulk cable and a bag full of connectors and start soldering.
The 15m ones I've found are 8 channel.
Those are meant for connecting studio equipment and are typically
build with a "squid" (bundle of individual connectors) at both ends.
The 30m+ ones I find are all 16+4 channels
Those are meant for connecting a console to the stage, and are usually
built with a squid on one end and a box with panel mounted connectors
on the other.
Each type is more convenient for its intended application. What's
yours?
