But seriously, a good XLR connection measures perfect at and below the 0.01
dB and 0.001% THD level, and has the sound quality to match.

That is, do I buy a couple of cheap 15m snakes at Thomans or and
expensivie (and heavy)... So, I suppose joining a couple of shorter
snakes is safe.
