Sure the choir is amateur...

I didn't mean "amateur" in any perjorative senze, merely that the
downside of people such as those you mention doing their best and
obviously getting a lot of personal fullfilment from singing is
too much in the way of poor intonation and sloppy ensemble.

Music is about fun, right?

Certainly people should enjoy themselves, but all professional
musicians I know are intensely serious about their craft. Amateur
musicians and singers have an advantage in that respect.

Here's a challenge - guess the size of the group.

I must say that there is a refreshing "live," unprocessed
quality to the sound.

All I am saying is whatever you did, it worked well in the service of
