Default FS: Pioneer SPEC 3 Pre-Amp

I have forsale one of my two Pioneer SPEC-3 Pre-Amps. The
SPEC-3 is the missing component in the Pioneer SPEC series,
which is well known for the SPEC-1 pre-amp, and SPEC-2 250
WPC power amp, and SPEC-4 150 WPC power amp.

The SPEC-3 was not marketed in the USA, so they are very, very
rare in the states. I located two of them from collectors in
Europe a while back, and I would consider parting with one of
them. These are highly collectable, and no Pioneer collection
is complete without one.

The SPEC-3 is a rack mount component with large rack handles.
It is slightly shorter than the other SPEC components. In
comparison, a SPEC-3 and a TX-D1000 stacked on top of each
other is about the same height as an RT-707 tape deck. It
has nearly all of the features of the SPEC-1, except no
speaker switch, no mic input, no headphone jack, and no
high pass filter switch.

Note that the SPEC-3 is 220/240 Volt only, so a voltage
converter will be required to run it on US 117VAC power. The
unit is 50/60 Hz.

This unit is in very good condition. It has a few ever so minor
pits on the front, but nothing that can be seen from more than
a few feet away. It has not been rack mounted. I have not tested
this item yet. It was represented to me as a working unit, and
it came from a trusted source. You can make an offer either as-is,
or in a tested condition.
